On Friday night we will start with the big question: “What is the Chief End of Man?” And the answer to that question is summarized in the historic Westminster Shorter Catechism:

"Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever."

And each conference talk will continue to unfold that theme:

• How do we Glorify and Enjoy God in our Humanity?

• What does that look like if you are single?

• What does that look like if you are married?

• What does that look like within your family?

• And can we Glorify and Enjoy God even in our death?

We hope you will join us as we hear from local Vermont pastors on each of those topics.

Interspersed with the talks will be a lot of singing as we glorify and enjoy God through worship and song. The combined voice of our multiple congregations is one of the great joys of the conference each year.

Biblical Expository talks

Our primary means of displaying the glory of Christ as our supreme treasure is Biblical exposition of the text of Scripture. For this reason, we have prepared a series of talks that will be delivered throughout the course of the conference. 

Christ-Exalting Worship

The worship at the conference includes a broad span of hymns throughout church history: both modern hymns and also hymns that have endured through the ages. Additionally, we offer moments of sincere reflection on a Biblical text or truth through the inclusion of choral art pieces. 

Fervent Pastoral Scholarship

The commitment of the pastors involved includes a dedicated effort to write well-researched articles that are an offering of genuine scholarship as well as a humble submission to the accountability of their fellow pastors. All articles and submissions are collectively printed in our conference booklet which is secured by permission for use in the local church.
